A new show by Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC) Modern Love Mumbai made with Amazon Prime Video and The New York Times released in 240 countries and territories on May 13 to critical applause and wide audience response. The release was preceded by a premiere and blue carpet event on May 11 in Mumbai hosted by MAMI, the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image, and was followed by a Modern Love Fest on May 14 at the JVPD ground in Juhu, where the actors and directors met their fans and celebrated all evening amidst music and food in a specially curated event where popular artistes performed. The response to the show on the opening weekend was overwhelming. Modern Love Mumbai, an anthology of six films directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Hansal Mehta, Shonali Bose, Alankrita Shrivastava, Nupur Asthana and Dhruv Sehgal, looks all set to be PNC’s next big show on Amazon Prime Video. Season 3 of Four More Shots Please!, the International Emmy-nominated show on Amazon Prime Video, widely acclaimed as its most-watched, concluded principal photography this month and anticipation is building up for its release later this year. Meanwhile, the music of Modern Love Music was released by Sony Music on May 12 and its songs are already topping music charts. Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Vishal Bhardwaj, Jeet Gannguli, Ram Sampath, Neel Adhikari, Gaurav Raina and Nikhil D’Souza have scored the music. Executive Producers for the PNC show are Rangita Pritish Nandy, John Carney and Ishita Pritish Nandy. It has a large cast featuring Fatima Sana Shaikh, Chitrangda, Pratik Gandhi, Arshad Warsi, Masaba, Naseeruddin Shah, Yeo Yann Yann, Ritwik Bhowmick, Danesh Razvi, Meiyang Chang, Sarika, Tanuja, Wamiqa Gabbi and Prateik Babbar, among others. Chef Ranveer Brar plays a chef while director Anurag Kashyap plays a director.
