Pritish Nandy Communications announced Q2 results after its Board meeting today. Income in Q2 was Rs 385.49 lakh with a loss of Rs 67.02 lakh.
The first half-year results showed total income grew to Rs 2302.63 lakh, as compared to the total income of the first half-year of 2023-24 which was Rs 2218.91 lakh with a loss of Rs 31.74 lakh compared to a profit of Rs 70.65 lakh in the first half-year of 2023-24. This shows a 4% increase in total income as compared to the total income of first half-year of previous year.
The Company has completed principal photography of The Royals, An Original series for Netflix. The Royals, a romance reimagined against the spectacle of royalty and modern day India where start-up warriors on steroids are all set to challenge the past. Created by Rangita and Ishita Pritish Nandy, The Royals features actors Bhumi Pednekar in her first series appearance and Ishaan Khatter. Supported by a powerhouse ensemble cast including Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Milind Soman, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, Sumukhi Suresh, Lisa Mishra and others, all set to captivate audiences worldwide.
The Company’s new Amazon Original series Ziddi Girls is expected to release on Prime Video in Q4. Season 1 of this 8-episode series captures the magic of being young and idealistic, brave and vulnerable as a new batch of Gen Z freshers enter a college campus in Delhi and discover that nothing is as simple as it looks. The powerful coming of age drama has been created and show-run by Rangita and Ishita Pritish Nandy, who won an International Emmy nomination for their very successful Amazon Original Four More Shots Please!. Ziddi Girls is directed by award winning film maker Shonali Bose with Neha Sharma and Vasant Nath.
Other new series and films are in development at PNC‘s creative studio for streaming platforms across the world. One of them is likely to go into production later this financial year.
