PNC grows Q1 revenue by 321%, makes profit

Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC) announced its Q1 results after its board meeting on Tuesday August 6, 2024.

The Q1 results showed revenue of Rs 1917.14 lakh compared to last year’s Q1 revenue of Rs 455.27 lakh, a 321% growth. The Company made a profit after tax of Rs 36.04 lakh in Q1 as against a loss of Rs 41.80 lakh last year.

The Company has completed filming of their new 8-episodeseries, a romantic comedy for a leading global streaming platform. Details of the show, its cast and crew, and when it will drop on the platform will be announced soon. We will keep you informed here.

The Company's new Amazon series "Ziddi Girls" is expected to release on Amazon Prime Video this year. The first season of this 8 episode series captures the magic of being young and idealistic, brave and vulnerable as a new batch of Gen Z freshers enter a college campus in Delhi and discover that nothing is as simple as it looks. The powerful coming of age drama has been created and show-run by Rangita and Ishita Pritish Nandy, who won an International Emmy nomination for their very successful Amazon Original “Four More Shots Please!”. "Ziddi Girls” is directed by award winning filmmaker Shonali Bose with Neha Sharma and Vasant Nath.

Other new series and films are in development at PNC's creative studio for streaming platforms across the world. One or more of them are also likely to go into production later this financial year. This includes new seasons of extremely successful streaming shows created and produced by PNC in the past that have won many awards and encomiums.
