In its very first year of launch, His Holiness The XIV Dalai Lama launched WCD amidst a selective gathering of people including Dr Satyapal Singh, Police Commissioner, Capt Nair, Sonam Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, Raveena Tandon and Anil Thadani, Abhishek Kapoor and many, many more. Joining him on stage were Anil Kapoor, Chetan Bhagat and Founder Pritish Nandy.
