Bow Barracks Forever, Pritish Nandy Communications’ critically acclaimed film, which explored the real life story of a tiny but resolute Anglo Indian community right in the heart of bustling North Kolkata trying desperately to keep alive its hopes, dreams, aspirations–and its identity, as the world around them changes swiftly, was screened on 4th April in Competition at the FilmaMadrid International Film Festival held between March 28-April 5, 2008 and has won Lilette Dubey the Best Actress award.
FilmaMadrid is an international film festival dedicated exclusively to feature films and the understanding of cinema as a pure form of culture, as opposed to mere spectacle.

Bow Barracks Forever is directed by Anjan Dutt and stars Victor Banerjee, Lilette Dubey, Sabyasachi Chakravarty, Moon Moon Sen, Rupa Ganguly, Neha Dubey and introduced Clayton Rodgers and Sohini Pal.
