Percept Picture Company releases Ugly Aur Pagli

Percept Picture Company has tied up with Pritish Nandy Communications to distribute and market worldwide the forthcoming PNC film Ugly aur Pagli starring Mallika Sherawat and Ranvir Shorey supported by an ensemble cast featuring Zeenat Aman, Gaurav Kapur, Sapna Bhavnani, Mika, Hard Kaur and Payal Rohatgi. This tie-up is the precursor to a strategic alignment between two successful entertainment companies who are looking forward to reaffirm their business of making movies for today’s generation of viewers. Percept Picture Company and Pritish Nandy Communications now look forward to taking ahead their relationship with some more movies currently in their pipeline. These movies will be announced shortly.

UGLY AUR PAGLI RELEASES GLOBALLY ON JULY 25, 2008

Mr. Shailendra Singh Jt.MD Percept Picture Company says “PPC and PNC have always believed in offering differentiated commercial cinema and our association will fuel-in supply. With the acquisition of Ugly aur Pagli we are looking at a long term successful relationship with PNC. The movie has the potential to strike an impressive balance between a light hearted romance and a comedy, a genre of which there has been a dearth of in recent times”

PPC has a varied portfolio comprising of films like Page 3, Corporate, Malamaal Weekly and the pioneering animation series Hanuman. It will now globally release PNC’s Ugly aur Pagli. Currently the company is riding high on the success of the first Pakistani film released in India Khuda Kay Liye and Jannat.
